Sean Payton is the Coach of the New Orleans Saints. He came to the Saints in 2006. Payton's one of the most successful coaches in the history of the Saints. In his opening season the Saints record jumped to 3-0 a first in the teams history.

The Saints Mascot "Gumbo"
Gumbo has been with the Saints since the 1967 season.He was named after the Cajun Gumbo dish that is well loved in Louisiana. A St. Bernard standing 7 feet tall and his theme songs songs are "Who Let the Dogs Out" and "The Saints Go Marching In". Gumbo makes the crowd laugh with his funny antics, flipping and tumbling leading cheers at every home game. He goes to charity events,pep rallies,school assemblies and many other rewarding events.
Youth programs
The New Orleans Saints youth program goal is to improve the lives of children in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast area.The coaches,players and staff draw the children's attention with "Star Power" so they will improve their learning skills and have a healthy lifestyle.The owner of the Saints" since 1985, Mr. Benson was born and raised in New Orleans and wants to give back to his community.
The Saints and the NFL Grassroots Grant Program was started in 2006. The goal being to provide financial and technical assistance. A new Field-turf surface was installed at the Pan American Stadium. The stadium is one of the city's primary places for local high school football and soccer games. Local schools can apply for a financial grant.
Amanda T..was selected as the 2010 New Orleans Pro Bowl Cheerleader, she will be going to Miami to represent the New Orleans Saintsations. She is a great role model for young girls.
The Junior Saintsations is an opportunity for young girls 6-16 years of age to learn dance and cheer techniques.
New Orleans Saints Celebration
This season will be most remembered for the longest touchdown in the Saints history. Drew Bree had a record making 46 yard touch down to Robert Meachem in less than 6 minutes into the game.
This will be the first NFC Championship game played at the Louisiana super dome.
If the Saints beat the Vikings there will be a tremendous celebration in New Orleans,Louisiana.This game is going to fun and very exciting to watch. I know I will be watching.
The Saints vs Minnesota will be playing in the Super dome: New Orleans,Louisiana on Sunday January 24,2010 at 5:40 pm CT.
The Saints won with a score of 31-28 and the fans went wild. They are celebrating the win 5 years after "Hurricane Katrina" in New Orleans.
The" Saints" coach Sean Payton says "This is the City of New Orleans". The strength of their fans gave the team the confidence to win.
Garrett Hartley
A little know kicker made a 40 yard field goal in overtime. Garrett had kicked 20 times in his whole career.
