Raising and Loving a Baby Kitten Is Fun

Remember the nursery rhyme from childhood ..3 little kittens lost their mittens and they began to cry.I have always loved kittens ever since I first heard it. My very first kitten was black and white. He grew up to be a large loving cat. I played with him like a doll dressing him up and pushed him in a doll carriage he was so spoiled.

Kittens are full of energy and lots of fun to raise.They are wonderful companions. They will love you always. All the pet kitten will want in return is to be taken care of and loved back.

When you bring home your kitten it should be around 9 wks old before taken from its mother. There are some things you will need.for the little kitten.

Litter Box

A litterbox should be kept clean so the kitten will use it without many accidents kittys like cleaniness. Cleaning weekly is recommended.

Buying Treated with baking sodakitten litter is a good way to help contol odors.

A plastic poop scooper can be kept clean pretty easily. it is lightweight and can be hung up when it not being used.

Healthy Food for kittens will contain vitamins the little kitten needs. You can buy the food in a pet store,vets office or local grocery.

Bowls should be made of stainless steel or ceramic.They are better for keeping the bowls clean.

Cat Carrier

For taking kitten on trips to vet ,visits or vacation. Put in a comfy soft blanket with newspaper underneath.

Toys

I suggest having a few toys for the kitten to introduce it to the fun of playing right away. Keeping the kitten busy with excerise is good for it. Handmade toys or purchased ones are great.

Vaccinating the Kitten

The vet of your choice will give your kitten a checkup. Its first vaccination and worming will usually happen.This should should be done when the kitten is around 8 to 9 weeks old. It will be a healthy happy kitten!
