A Santa Claus Short Story

Santa Claus is the man in the red suit with the long white beard. Santa can be found anywhere. He is in everyone's thoughts during the Holidays. Little children especially love Santa because they know he flies in a sled pulled by his reindeer bringing toys to good boys and girls

The other day walking through the flea market with my young grandson an older man had a table. He had a unique music box statue which got my attention of a little shepherd boy sitting on the table. The shepherd boy wore a robe held a staff with a little donkey standing beside him . Surprizingly the boy looked very much like my grandson. How much for this? I asked it's for my little grandson. "Two dollars for you" he replied. My grandson eyes got really big he spoke up "it's Ho Ho " grandma. Ho Ho is what he calls Santa. Then I saw the man had a long white beard .Well the man laughed with Jolly Ho Ho Ho. He said I just lost weight I don't know why but the children all still call me Santa Claus! That made me laugh so hard I almost cried! I said maybe it's the beard. He looked at my grandson sternly and said, "Have you been a good boy?" He answered happily smiling back" Yes Ho Ho". He was in a good cheery mood smiling ,dancing and laughing all day long. I will never forget that amazing day.
